FANUC Robotics Expands Operations in Ohio
    ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., May 19 -- FANUC Robotics North
America, Inc. has expanded its operations in Ohio by moving into a new 40,000-
square-foot facility in the city of Mason, a suburb of Cincinnati.
    These operations were previously located in an 18,000-square-foot facility
in Cincinnati, which the company had occupied since 1993.
    "Steady growth throughout the company has prompted our move to a facility
more than twice the size of the former one," said John Roemisch, general
manager of the company's Cincinnati operations.  "Our 11 facilities in the
North America/Latin America region include two in Ohio, located in Toledo and
Cincinnati.  The increased capabilities afforded by this latest expansion
allow us to serve our ever-growing list of customers throughout the central
United States in a timely and cost-efficient manner."
    FANUC Robotics is a leading supplier of robots and robotic systems to the
automotive industry and other general industries.  The Cincinnati facility
provides regional coverage for the states of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana,
Tennessee, West Virginia, Mississippi and Alabama.  The new facility will be
dedicated to systems engineering, assembly, integration and customer
demonstrations, as well as system sales, installation, service and training.
