Federal-Mogul Announces Organizational Structure For Sealing Systems - North AmericaSOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 21 -- Federal-Mogul Vice President, Sealing Systems - North America, Rick Streicher, announces the new organizational structure for the Sealing Systems - North America Group with the following appointments: * Rick Capretta, director of technology development * Ron Comer, director of manufacturing operations * Mike Fisher, vice president, sales and application engineering * Eileen Heisler, plant manager, Skokie, Illinois * Ramzi Hermiz, director of sourcing Rick Capretta, Director of Technology Development, Sealing Systems - North America Rick Capretta has been appointed director of technology development, Sealing Systems - North America. In this role, Rick will be responsible for research and development and product engineering throughout the North American operations. Capretta began his career with Fel-Pro in 1986. He has held positions of increasing responsibility in product and application engineering. Most recently, he held the position of chief engineer/team leader of the OE Automotive Tech Team. Capretta earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York. Ron Comer, Director of Manufacturing Operations, Sealing Systems - North America Ron Comer has been appointed to director of manufacturing operations, Sealing Systems - North America. His responsibilities will include seal and gasket manufacturing for facilities located in Athens, Alabama; Summerton, South Carolina; Van Wert, Ohio; Frankfort, Indiana; Skokie, Illinois; and Milan, Michigan. Comer joined the T&N organization in 1971. Throughout his career with T&N he has held various manufacturing management positions with D.A.B. Industries, Inc. and J.P. Industries, Inc. He has most recently held the position of president, McCord Payen, Inc. in Athens, Alabama. Comer earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Heidelberg College, Tiffin, Ohio. Mike Fisher, Vice President, Sales and Application Engineering, Sealing Systems - North America Mike Fisher has been appointed vice president, sales and application engineering, Sealing Systems - North America. Fisher's responsibilities will include sales and engineering functions for the automotive and heavy-duty markets for all seal and gasket products. Fisher joined Federal-Mogul in 1967 at Van Wert. Throughout his career he has held positions of increasing responsibility in material control, sales and engineering management. Most recently, he held the position of vice president, sales and engineering for the Sealing Systems group. Fisher earned a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Illinois. Eileen Heisler, Plant Manager, Skokie, Illinois Eileen Heisler has been appointed plant manager, Skokie, Illinois effective immediately. Heisler has been with the Skokie gasket manufacturing facility for over eighteen years where she has held a variety of positions each with increasing responsibilities. Prior to this appointment, Heisler has served as catalog manager for all aftermarket new product introduction, merchandising, publications and pricing, director of customer quality and satisfaction and director of distribution. Heisler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in speech communications and English literature from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois. Ramzi Hermiz, Director of Sourcing, Sealing Systems - North America Ramzi Hermiz has been appointed director of sourcing, Sealing Systems - North America. In this role, Hermiz will have responsibility for global product sourcing and purchasing support for the entire Sealing Systems group. Hermiz joined Fel-Pro in 1990 and has held a succession of purchasing positions of increasing responsibility. His most recent position was director, global supply. Hermiz earned a Master of Business Administration degree in international business from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
