GE Engine Services Names AAR Exclusive Supplier Of JT8D Engine Parts For GE Dallas

    WOOD DALE, Ill., May 27 -- AAR and GE Engine Services Inc.
announced today that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
under which AAR will have the exclusive right to supply parts for Pratt &
Whitney JT8D engines to GE Engine Services - Dallas, a GE Engine Services
subsidiary in Texas.
    Under the five-year agreement, AAR will provide a customized inventory
management program.  The program will integrate supply and repair of engine
parts to support GE Engine Services - Dallas JT8D engine maintenance,
including the -200 series, the newest version of the JT8D.  GE Engine Services
- Dallas overhauls more than 300 JT8D engines annually.  AAR is currently
providing similar services to GE Aircraft Engine Services Limited and GE Celma
S.A., GE Engine Services subsidiaries in Wales and Brazil.
