VDO North America Relocates Headquarters
    ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., May 27 -- VDO North America, a
division of German-based Mannesmann VDO, recently relocated its headquarters
to its new facility in Rochester Hills, Mich., to strengthen the company's
North American presence and support anticipated growth and expansion.  The
17,550 square-foot facility will house more than 100 automotive-focused
employees, including management, research and development and engineering
staff.  The company previously was headquartered in Winchester, Va.
    "Rochester Hills is an ideal location for VDO North America," said Herb
Everss, president and CEO.  "It is essential for us to be in the heart of the
automotive industry -- close to our customers and suppliers -- as we increase
our role within the automotive community."

    Employing more than 500 people, VDO North America provides leading-edge
driver information, navigation and fuel systems and components to original
equipment manufacturers in the automotive, marine and industrial markets.  The
