Top Driver Takes Confusion Out of Ohio's New Drivers License Law; Top Driver, Chevrolet and MetLife Auto Raising Industry Standards

    STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, June 30 -- In keeping with its reputation
of revolutionizing driver education, Top Driver, Inc., a New York-based driver
education company today announced it already has programs in place to meet the
new state driving laws which take effect on Wednesday.
    Top Driver, which recently opened a driver education center in
Strongsville, Ohio, combines touch-screen computers, multi-media classroom
training and certified on-road coaching in brand new Chevrolet vehicles.
Among its programs is Top Driver's Road Scholar course which offers 16 hours
of multi-media classroom training.  Top Driver has curriculum in place to
adjust to the state requirement as of  July 1.  Road Scholar also provides 12
hours of intensive on-road coaching which exceeds the state's requirements by
4 hours.

    National statistics show that 94 percent of all fatal accidents are caused
by driver error and that young drivers age 16 to 20 years old have the highest
fatality and injury rate per 100,000 population.  The number of 16-year-old
deaths has doubled in the past 20 years.
