Michigan Association of Recreational Vehicles and Campgrounds's Detroit Camper & RV Show is Coming to Novi Expo Center

    NOVI, Mich., Oct. 6 -- The Michigan Association of
Recreational Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) is sponsoring the 9th Annual
Fall Detroit Camper & RV Show in Novi, October 7-11, 1998, at the Novi Expo
Center.  The event will feature all types and sizes of 1998 and 1999
recreation vehicles, including folding campers, motor homes, travel trailers,
truck campers, park models and fifth wheels.  Over 300 models are on display,
ranging in price from $3,000 to over $300,000.  There is something for
everyone ... from a simple, folding camper to a state-of-the-art, 42-foot
luxury motor home.
    This year's show is sure to be a good time!  Enjoy family entertainment,
bands and clowns.  Participate in educational seminars.  Ride in the Bill
Elliott McDonald's NASCAR Simulator.  See Fred Trost, public television's
"Practical Sportsman."  Plus, register to win a fold-down camper from Walt
Michal's RV Center.
    The 9th Annual Fall Detroit Camper & RV Show will be held at the Novi Expo
Center (I-96 and Novi Road) October 7-11 and is open weekdays, 2-9 p.m.,
Saturday, Noon-9 p.m., and Sunday, Noon-6 p.m.  The cost for adult admission
(age 13 and up) is $6.50; children age 12 and under are admitted free!
2-for-1 coupons are available at participating RV dealers.
    The show is sponsored by the Michigan Association of Recreational Vehicles
and Campgrounds, a member organization representing all aspects of the camping
and RV industries.
