UAW-GM Quality 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Posts Record Results
    CONCORD, N.C., Oct. 6 -- Speedway Motorsports, Inc.
today announced record attendance for Winston Pole Night, the All
Pro Bumper-to-Bumper 300 and the UAW-GM Quality 500 races at Charlotte Motor
Speedway, Sept. 30 - Oct. 4, 1998.

at Charlotte.  And our Winston Pole Night Commemorative ticket, featuring
three generations of Earnhardts -- Ralph, Dale and Dale, Jr., claimed its spot
as one of the best sellers of all time."
