Registry Magic and JM Lexus Launch Auto Industry's First Speech Recognition Virtual Operator(R)
Automated Auto Attendant Provides Improved Customer Service and Higher
Productivity to World's Largest Lexus Dealer

BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 20 -- Registry Magic , a
leader in conversational speech recognition technology, and JM Lexus, the
largest volume retail Lexus dealer in the world, today announced they have
successfully launched the Virtual Operator, the first speech driven auto-
attendant to be used within the auto industry.
Named a "National Treasure" by the Smithsonian Institute, the Virtual
Operator is a turnkey solution that attaches to a business' telephone system
and performs the tasks of a live operator. It answers up to 12 calls at once,
understands natural speech and eliminates touch-tone. Now, JM Lexus customers
can call and gain instant access to the person or department they are trying
to reach.
"We chose Registry Magic's Virtual Operator because of its ability to
seamlessly enhance our customer service as well as boost our productivity
levels," said Bill Dowd, Information Systems Director of JM Lexus. "With
1,600 incoming calls a day, the Virtual Operator has proved to be an effective
alternative to a traditional operator and a communication solution that gives
us a competitive edge in servicing our customers quickly and efficiently."
Targeted at businesses with 25-500 employees and multiple branch offices,
Registry Magic's Virtual Operator software application is a speech recognition
auto attendant and call routing system designed to enhance corporate telephone
systems.
"We are pleased with the positive impact the Virtual Operator has on the
day-to-day business at JM Lexus," said Bill Burbank, Registry Magic's Vice
President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. "With over 20,000 car dealerships
in the United States, Registry Magic is positioned to capture this market
share and is committed to making speech recognition technology an affordable
and user-friendly staple in every business' operational plan on a worldwide
basis."
