    ROCKLEIGH, N.J., Nov. 12 -- Travel lovers no longer have to
choose between planning a vacation and shopping for a new car.  A new
promotion from Volvo provides free round-trip airfare and one night free hotel
accommodation for anyone who purchases a new Volvo through the European
Overseas Delivery Program from now until March 31.  Delivery of the car must
occur by August 31.  Customers who take delivery by December 31, 1998 will
receive a bonus second night free hotel accommodation.
    The European Overseas Delivery Program allows customers to purchase a new
Volvo at up to ten percent savings and take delivery of it in any of thirteen
European cities. Volvo arranges for temporary registration and insurance so
new owners can enjoy driving their new cars throughout the vacation, saving
additional ground transportation costs and hassles.
    At the end of the vacation, Volvo will ship the new car from one of
more than 17 drop-off points in Europe to the customer's local Volvo retailer.
Overseas freight expenses, insurance and U.S. Customs duty are among the many
elements included at no extra charge, making this an easy, convenient process
for customers, who return home with memories of Europe and the car of their
choice.
    The new S80 luxury sedan, C70 coupe, S70 sedan, and V70 sportswagon are
all available through this special offer.  Diplomats and military personnel
