BMW Car Club Intros MBNA Credit Card program

BMW Car Club of America Introduces MBNA Credit Card Program
    WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 25 -- MBNA America Bank, N.A.
announced today that BMW Car Club of America, the nation's largest
car club, has selected MBNA to issue a credit card to its more than 47,000
members.
    The MBNA BMW Car Club program expands MBNA's position as the leader in
credit card motorsports marketing.  Customers may apply for a Standard, Gold,
or Platinum Plus credit card featuring the image of the BMW Car Club logo.
    More than 1.5 million Customers have chosen an MBNA credit card connected
to the more than 300 motorsports groups that endorse MBNA, including NASCAR,
the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the National Hot Rod Association.  MBNA
offers more than 70 credit card programs designed for automotive enthusiasts
and car club members in the United States, Canada, Ireland, and the United
Kingdom.
    BMW Car Club of America, a not-for-profit corporation, was founded in 1969
as an owner-support network and has grown to include owners worldwide of
classic and current models.  With headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts,
the club produces the monthly magazine Roundel, which provides feature
articles, monthly columns, product reviews, and technical information.
