Budget Offers One-Way Rates Out of Florida For Just $9.95 Per Day

              -- Customers Can "Drive-Out" to One of 50 Cities--

    LISLE, Ill., Feb. 16 -- Budget Rent a Car Corporation, the
world's third largest car and truck rental company, today announced a special
One-Way Florida Drive-Out rate of only $9.95 per day for intermediate cars,
from March 29 through May 15, 1999.
    Budget customers can rent an intermediate car (Ford Contour, Nissan Altima
or similar) from participating Budget locations in Florida and drive one
way to any of fifty select cities throughout the central and east coast states
for just $9.95 per day, including unlimited mileage, for the first five days.
A weekly rate of $159.00 is available for rentals of six or seven days. Among
the fifty one-way destinations are Indianapolis, New York, Philadelphia,
Raleigh and St. Louis.
    "By offering special One-Way rates out of Florida, Budget is able to
provide its customers with great rates while redistributing its Florida winter
fleet," stated Mark Sotir, president of Budget Rent a Car Corporation.

    Advanced reservations are required and these one-way rates are subject to
vehicle availability.  Rates and destinations are subject to change.  This
offer is not available with any other discount or promotional offer.  Optional
LDW is $16.99 per day or less where available.  Taxes, surcharges, additional
driver fee and optional items, such as refueling, are extra.  An airport
concession fee may apply at some airports.  Local rental and age requirements
apply. Locations that rent to drivers under the age of 25 may impose an
age surcharge.
