EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

MASSIVE OUTDOOR CAR SHOW: The Goodguys 2nd Southwest Nationals is without a doubt, one of the west's best displays of hot rods, customs, classics and muscle cars through 1972 vintage. Lil' deuce coupes, hot rod roadsters, chopped Mercury customs, fat fendered '40 Fords, '55-'57 Chevy's, Hemi Cuda's, Boss 429 Mustangs and countless other varieties of rods and customs will sprawl throughout the beautiful grassy acreage of Westworld. It is known around the country and within the street rod industry that events promoted by the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association draw the nation's top cars with an emphasis on "quality" scratch-built rods and customs. Some of these artistic automotive creations can cost as much as $500,000. The national street rod press including at least five magazine titles will be on hand covering the action at Westworld.

MANUFACTURER EXHIBITS: A Manufacturer's Midway complete with performance automotive companies will be yet another event highlight at the Goodguys Southwest Nationals. Consumers can interact direct with factory representatives who will be able to answer consumer questions and provide technical support. Companies like Sears-NTB, BF Goodrich, Edelbrock, B & M, Mr. Gasket and many others will be on hand.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: Supplying the high energy rock & roll spirit throughout the weekend will be "The Rave" a talented band specializing in 50s, 60s & 70s classics through contemporary music. The Rave will play Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1:45 p.m.

SWAP MEET AND CAR CORRAL: The Swap Meet will feature over one hundred vendors selling used and hard to find automotive equipment such as fenders, wheels, trim parts etc. for vintage automobiles. A Goodguys swap meet is often referred to as a classic "automotive treasure hunt." The Collector Car Corral is like the ultimate high performance car lot. Hundreds of classic autos and hot rods will be available at great prices. Often the cars are ready to drive out of the Car Corral in "turn key" condition. For those looking to get into the hot rod or custom car hobby, the Car Corral is a must see!
