Gateway Country Helps Students ``Cram for College'' with Cool Prizes Including Volkswagen Beetles and $1,500 Gateway Country Certificates

Gateway Country, providing a revolutionary way to purchase complete computer solutions, today announced it will give away 10 Volkswagen Beetles - complete with cow spots - as part of its 1999 nation-wide graduation promotion. The special promotion is designed for high school graduates and their parents and includes computer solutions designed exclusively for students who will attend college this Fall. Gateway has also developed three graduation configurations including two desktop PCs and a portable PC, all starting at $1,499.
In addition, Gateway Country sales representatives will be available during normal store hours to serve as technology solution "counselors." Many colleges and universities have specific PC requirements and specifications. Gateway Country representatives will assist parents and students in finding the appropriate requirements and configuring a Gateway system that will meet students' needs.
