ESWW Turns 11-Year-Old Clunker Into A Clean Air Vehicle

     Business Editors

     TORONTO--July 12, 1999--Environmental Solutions
Worldwide, Inc.(OTC-BB:ESWW) is pleased to announce that its patented
Enviro-Cat(TM) converter eliminated more than 95% of nitrogen oxide
emissions (NOx) in an independent emission testing lab based in
Chicago, IL, that is recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency, (EPA).
The Enviro-Cat(TM) was installed on a 1988 Chrysler Plymouth
Sundance. The results show the Enviro-Cat(TM) eliminated 96.13% of NOx
and 75.45% of carbon monoxide (CO), which are considered to be the
main contributors to smog. Automobile emissions currently account for
more than 60% of the world's total air pollution and recent studies by
the U.S. EPA suggest that current converter technology actually
increases NOx.
The company feels that the Enviro-Cat(TM) is the only catalytic
converter technology in the world that reduces NOx.
"This was the first time we tested the Enviro-Cat(TM) under a car
at an independent emissions-testing lab in the United States and the
results came through as expected," said Dr. Bruno Liber, Enviro-Cat
inventor, co-founder and technical director of ESWW. "We essentially
made a smoking clunker into a low- emission vehicle."
The tests were conducted according to Federal Test Procedures
(FTP). The test vehicle was tested three times without the
Enviro-Cat(TM). and three times with the Enviro-Cat(TM). The average
for the three tests are

Dr. Liber said that "the Enviro-Cat(TM) is more environmentally
friendly than current catalytic converters because of the composition
of the converter's honeycomb 'cake', over which automobile exhaust
gases pass and are converted into an almost harmless end product."
Current catalytic converter substrate's add precious metals to
precipitate, alter and reduce auto emissions from unleaded gasoline.
This not only makes them expensive to manufacture, but limits their
effectiveness at reducing harmful substances released into the air.
One of the main advantages of the Enviro-Cat(TM) over current
technologies that it starts working as soon as the engine is started,
rather than after a lengthy warm up.
More importantly, the Enviro-Cat(TM) works on unleaded, leaded
and diesel fuels, while current converters only work on unleaded fuel.
This gives the Enviro-Cat(TM) a huge competitive advantage since
leaded and diesel - fueled vehicles make up about half of the world's
fleet of vehicles.
With over one billion automobiles in use around the world and
auto manufacturers facing costly measures to meet higher emissions
standards for the 45 million new vehicles built each year, ESWW is
currently discussing possible joint ventures and strategic alliances
with a major automobile manufacturer and automotive suppliers to
maximize the commercial value of the Enviro-Cat(TM) technology.
