Thrifty Offers Double or Triple Airline Miles & Triple Hilton Bonus Points

TULSA, Okla., Aug. 30, 1999; Thrifty Car Rental customers will be "seeing double" -- or even "triple" -- this fall when the company offers double or triple frequent flyer miles with select airline partners, and triple Hilton HHonors partner bonus points when customers rent at Thrifty airport locations in the U.S. and Canada.

The offer is good from Sept. 7 through Nov. 20, 1999.

Frequent flyers with American Airlines, America West Airlines FlightFund, TWA and Continental Airlines(R) will earn double miles when they rent during this special promotional period.

Members of the United Airlines Mileage Plus program will receive triple miles during this period to celebrate Thrifty Car Rental joining their program.

And members of Hilton HHonors, one of the world's leading guest reward programs, will receive triple partner bonus points when a valid Thrifty rental agreement or keys are presented at hotel check-in.

"This is the best deal in town for frequent flyers," said Scott Anderson, Executive Vice President of Thrifty. "Customers not only have the opportunity to get double or triple miles with the airline of their choice, but they can also earn triple Hilton HHonors partner bonus points at the same time."

To receive double or triple miles and points, the rental car must be picked up during the promotional period. Rentals of up to 14 days in length will be eligible for the bonus miles, with additional days awarded at the standard level. The offer is available when customers rent at Thrifty airport locations in the U.S. and Canada only. Other limitations may apply.

Frequent flyers with the above airline programs also have the opportunity to earn miles when they park at participating Thrifty Car Rental airport locations that offer parking. Customers can earn 250 miles when they park three times at the same U.S. Thrifty parking facility within a one-year period.
