First woman to win a NASCAR pole position (I-95 Speedway, Florence, S.C.,
in the 1989 NASCAR Goody's Dash Series).

First woman in NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division history to win
a pole position (Busch Light 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 12,
1994), setting a track qualifying record of 174.330 mph.

Robinson returned to racing this year after a three-year hiatus to have
children and develop a successful interior decorating business.

If Robinson wins, she will be the first woman to win a race at Talladega
Superspeedway and a fan will win $100,000 courtesy of the track.

Robinson's Thoughts

"I'm anxious and excited for this race. Talladega is a very fast track and
the draft is very important here. It's a use-your-head-race track -- you
have to think fast to keep the car in one piece. I'm going into this race
with the mindset of having a good time and not worrying about the
pressure."
