Plastic Shield Prevents Frost From Forming on Windshield Overnight

Inexpensive, Removable Plastic Shield Prevents Frost From Forming on Windshield Overnight; Comes in Disposable or Reusable VersionsST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Nov. 2 -- It took a nuclear engineer to keep frost from forming on windshields overnight. He came up with a really low-tech, inexpensive plastic shield that does the job wonderfully. The RxP Sticky Shield(TM) was invented by research scientist Dr. Richard T. Schneider, assisted by Don Woodward, President of the company, RxP Products, Inc., which will take the new patent-pending idea to market. It comes in two versions ($3 reusable, $1 disposable). For more information or photos, go to http://www.rxp.com or call 1-800-297-5828. These adhesive-backed plastic sheets can be applied to an automobile's windshield to keep frost, ice or snow from forming. "If you have ever had to scrape a frosted windshield on a cold morning, you already know how handy this new sticky shield will be," says Woodward. Both the reusable and disposable versions can be applied by removing the adhesive backing and smoothing the sticky shield out over the windshield. The next morning simply pull the sticky shield off to expose two hundred sixteen (216) square inches of clear windshield. The sticky shield will be packaged with mirror shields and windshield wiper covers. All are designed for quick removal of frost, ice or snow. "While I hold more than thirty (30) patents on a wide range of inventions, I believe this is perhaps the most practical," says Dr. Schneider, who is a former professor of nuclear engineering at the University of Florida and NASA award-winning scientist. Woodward stresses the safety aspect of the shield. "People don't have to start out with a dime-sized hole scratched on their windshield with a credit card," says Woodward. "This product will give them a space big enough to see through." Since the sticky shield represents a new place to advertise, Woodward thinks the price will be favorable to consumers because selling ad space on the sticky shield will help offset costs. RxP Sticky Shield(TM) is an inexpensive alternative (from three dollars to less than one dollar) to scraping frost and snow off windshields. See http://www.rxp.com. Note: The RxP Sticky Shield(TM) will be introduced to market at the APAA Trade Show in Las Vegas on November 2.
