AAA's Snow Report Hotline Set to Open; Free Ski and Snowboard Conditions for Northern California, Nevada and Utah

SAN FRANCISCO--Nov. 10, 1999--The AAA Snow Report Hotline is warming up as the snow flakes begin to fall for the 1999-2000 winter sports season.
The hotline features skiing, snowboarding, cross-country and weather conditions at resorts in northern and central California, Nevada and Utah, and is available 24 hours a day by calling 415/864-6440. The report is updated each morning Monday through Friday, and includes general road conditions.
"The AAA Snow Report Hotline is a non-commercial service that provides objective and timely reports," said AAA spokesman Paul Moreno. "For more than 10 years, winter-sports enthusiasts have trusted the AAA snow report hotline for accurate and unbiased reports."
A few resorts indicate they will open as early as the third weekend in November.
AAA's Web site, www.aaa.com, features a list of ski resorts with ticket prices and hotlinks to ski resort Web sites and California road conditions.
For road conditions in California call 800/427-7623. For Nevada road conditions call 775/793-1313. For Utah road conditions call 800/492-2400.
