American Woman Motorscene Honors Best in 'Class of 2000' at 'Most Likely to Succeed' Automotive Awards at the NAIAS on January 12
DETROIT, Dec. 27 -- American Woman Motorscene magazine will
announce the "Top 10 Most Likely to Succeed" winners at its fourth annual
automotive awards ceremony at the North American International Auto Show on
January 12, 2000, in the Riverview Ballroom at Cobo Hall. The awards ceremony
will take place at 4 p.m., following a 3 p.m. reception.

"Although AWM's 'Top 10' are very prestigious, the awards event is
presented with a unique and entertaining flair," says Courtney Caldwell,
editor-in-chief of American Woman Motorscene. "Our goal is to not only select
vehicles that are best in their class, but also remind automakers that
purchases are based on emotion, personality and lifestyle."

The awards honor new model entries or existing models with significant
changes in design or technology.

                       "CLASS OF 2000" AWARD CATEGORIES

    * Most Likely to Succeed -- Top Honor
    * Most Likely to Survive Anything -- Sport Utility Vehicle
    * Most Wanted -- Sports Car
    * Most Sex Appeal -- Exotic
    * Most Likely to Be Remembered -- Classic

Each category winner must meet at least eight criteria important to women
consumers. The top honor, "Most Likely to Succeed", must meet at least ten
criteria.

"Women are responsible for more than half of all new vehicles purchased,"

reason why the AWM awards have captured the attention of industry leaders."
