    EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--Jan. 3, 2000--Aura Systems Inc. (OTC:AURA) announced that its AuraGen 5 kiloWatt Mobile Generator was chosen fourth of ten "Too Sexy for My Car Gadgets" published on Microsoft's MSN Underwire newsletter on Friday, Dec. 31, 1999.

The price quoted in the article does not include mounting kits or installation. The AuraGen which will be featured at the Detroit Automotive Show in mid-January fits most Utility, SUV and mid- to large-size pick-up trucks.
    The AuraGen Mobile Generator System is a commercial, under-the-hood, engine-belt-driven generator system capable of providing 5,000 Watts of continuous power at any speed including idle. The power provided by AuraGen is pure sine wave, 60 Hz, 120/240 VAC for operating any type of equipment in combination, from the most sensitive digital computer to the most brute force power tools. The system provides the same quality of electrical power whether the vehicle is stationary or mobile.
    Commercial end-users include utility companies, communications companies, and state, local and federal agencies, among others, on a variety of vehicles. A military version of the AuraGen, the Vehicle Integrated Primary Electrical Resource (VIPER), is continuing to be evaluated by the U.S. Army.
