    FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Jan. 17 -- Brand loyalty can provide

announced a new program that provides $1000 down payment assistance or cash
back when owners of Hyundai vehicles purchase or lease a new 2000 Sonata.
    The Hyundai Valued Owner Incentive Program runs from January 15, 2000
through March 31, 2000 and is open to registered owners of Hyundai vehicles
and members of their immediate family living in the same household.
    The Sonata is a value-packed mid-size sedan and is Hyundai's flagship
model in the U.S.  Every Sonata is fitted with front and side airbags for
front seat occupants and every Sonata is equipped with air conditioning, power
steering, power disc brakes and handsome alloy wheels.  The base Sonata is
powered by a sophisticated, high-tech 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine.  The GLS
model is powered by Hyundai's 170-horsepower V6 engine.
    Hyundai owners who want to take advantage of the Valued Owner program can
visit their local Hyundai dealer where printed forms are available.
    In addition to the $1000 down payment assistance or cash back, Hyundai
Valued Owner buyers will be covered by the Hyundai Advantage, America's Best
Warranty.
    All Hyundai vehicles sold in the United States are protected by this
outstanding warranty which includes 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain coverage,
5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper protection, 5-year/unlimited mileage
roadside assistance and 5-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation coverage.
