5 May 2000

Nostalgia Motorcars to Bring Back the World's Favorite Car

PHOENIX--Nostalgia Motorcars Inc. announced today that it plans to unveil its new "NOSTALGIA BUG" in early September 2000, ending a 20-year drought for bug enthusiasts in the United States and Canada.

The "NOSTALGIA BUG" is based on the classic version of the Volkswagen Beetle. The Beetle or "Bug" became the world's most popular automobile selling over 22 million units worldwide. The Bug's legendary reliability, economical operation, and charm have earned unparalleled loyalty and following, even though it has not been for sale in the United States since 1979.

The "NOSTALGIA BUG" is created by purchasing brand new classic style Volkswagen Bugs (currently manufactured in Mexico) and subsequently modifying each vehicle to strictly conform with all U.S. Federal DOT and EPA standards. Each vehicle will be titled as a new 2000 model.

The state of the art modifications utilized in creating the "NOSTALGIA BUG" (including air bags and emission monitoring equipment) are non-intrusive, insuring that all of the personality and charm of the original air-cooled, rear-engine "Classic Bug" is preserved for its multitude of enthusiasts.

"NOSTALGIA BUGS" have a superior fit, finish, and engineering and will boast a three-year nationwide bumper-to-bumper warranty and improvements such as Bosch fuel injection, sound system and other options such as air conditioning and leather interiors.

Nostalgia expects to import and sell the "NOSTALGIA BUG" internationally and anticipates selling up to 9,999 units per year starting at $12,500 per unit USD.

Nostalgia is now accepting orders from interested dealers and consumers and is receiving overwhelming enthusiasm for its new "NOSTALGIA BUG."
