Professional Transportation Group Ltd., Inc. Announces Resignation and Replacement of Chief Financial Officer

MARIETTA, Ga. - Professional Transportation Group Ltd., Inc. today announced
that its chief financial officer, Susan Dial, resigned effective July 14, 2000.
Ms. Dial served as the Company's comptroller at the time of the Company's
initial public offering in June 1997, and was named as CFO in January 1998.
Ms. Dial intends to pursue other professional interests outside the motor
carrier industry. The Company and Ms. Dial had no disagreement with respect to
the Company's financial reporting or its accounting policies.

Dennis A. Bakal, the Company's Chief Executive Officer and President,
stated, "Susan Dial was an integral part of our management team from the very
start. In our continuing effort to exploit the operation of our core motor
carrier business, we relied upon Susan's expertise and integrity on a daily
basis. She remains a loyal friend of our Company. We appreciate Susan's
willingness to consult with the Company in the future on an 'as needed' basis,
and we certainly wish her the very best in her endeavors."

Mr. Bakal further indicated that William R. Asbell, Jr. would assume the
role of the Company's CFO on an interim basis. Bill Asbell joined the Company
in March 2000 as its vice president and general counsel. Prior to his
employment with the Company, Mr. Asbell was a partner with company's principal
outside counsel. Mr. Asbell has several advanced degrees, among which is a
Master in Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University. Mr. Asbell
became a certified public accountant in Georgia in 1978. He earned his law
degree summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1980. He also
obtained his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from the University of
Georgia and was a Fulbright Scholar at Louisiana State University. Mr. Bakal
observed that, "The Company is so fortunate especially in its current growth
stage to have someone of Bill Asbell's background and intimate knowledge of
the Company to assume the responsibility for Susan Dial's duties. The
Company's recent growth and prospects practically required that we identify a
successor CFO with Bill's unique background and qualifications. Bill has a
continuing good relationship with our principal lender, and the legal and
accounting expertise to respond to the Company's needs in this growth
environment."
