Idol-Eyez Launches NASCAR Driver Souvenir Sunglass Line
    KENT, Wash., Sept. 6 Idol-Eyez, a division of Gargoyles,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GOYL), announced today that it has secured licensing
agreements with NASCAR and five top drivers to manufacture and market a new
line of signature souvenir sunglasses.
    The licensed product line will be marketed under the name Idol-Eyez, and
will retail in the $12 to $15 range.  The product line will feature multiple
styles for each driver unique to their personality.   Product characteristics
include the driver's signature on the lens together with the NASCAR logo and
the driver's car number on the temples.  Distribution of the new signature
souvenir line will be targeted at mass merchandisers, convenience stores,
travel centers, automotive outlets, military exchanges, trackside and NASCAR
specialty stores.
    The initial NASCAR driver line-up for the Idol-Eyez sunglass program will
consist of Dale Earnhardt, Inc. drivers, Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt
Jr., and Roush Racing drivers Mark Martin, Jeff Burton and Matt Kenseth.
    "We are very fortunate to be able to launch this line with great partners
like Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Roush Racing," said Nancy Parker, Idol-Eyez
division Senior Vice President.  "We are confident that the fans will be
excited about a sunglass line that features their favorite drivers."
    "We couldn't have hoped for a better group of drivers to launch this
program," added Parker.  "Dale Earnhardt and Mark Martin are two of NASCAR's
all-time greats, and Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton, and Matt Kenseth,
represent three of the brightest young stars in the sport.  We look forward to
adding other drivers in the very near future."
