Lexus Maintains Price for 2001 ES 300

    TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 2 For the 2001 model year, the
Lexus ES 300 entry-level luxury sedan continues to provide outstanding
refinement and value.  Lexus will hold the line on the ES 300's Manufacturer's
Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), which will continue to be $31,505.
    Additionally, a Lexus Value Package which includes a leather trim package
with driver's seat and outside mirror memory, interior air filter,
programmable garage door opener, in-dash 6-CD auto changer, and power tilt and
slide moonroof with sunshade, will be available for $1,965.  This represents a
50-percent discount over purchasing these popular features separately.
    The delivery, processing and handling fee for the ES 300 is $545.
