National Car Rental Offers Holiday Promotion; Great Rates On Every Car Class Nationwide, Through December 15, 2000
Business Editors/Travel & Hospitality WritersFORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--Oct. 2, 2000--As part of its fall promotion, National Car Rental, a subsidiary of ANC Rental Corporation , is offering customers a holiday promotional rate of $149 per week for a compact car in Florida and $159 per week in other U.S. destinations, except the New York Metro Area and Hawaii. The promotion, which is effective immediately and runs through December 15, includes the Cavalier, Sunfire, Neon and Corolla.
Other great rates are available in all car classes. Customers may enjoy a full-size car such as a Monte Carlo, Camry, and Grand Prix, among others, for only $199 per week. A two-hour advance reservation and a Saturday-night stay are required. A 21-day maximum rental period applies to this promotion. Renters must meet National Car Rental's age, driver, and credit requirements. The standard minimum age for renting a vehicle is 25, although guidelines may vary by jurisdiction. Optional Loss Damage Waiver of up to $20 may apply. Taxes, other governmentally authorized or imposed surcharges, license and concession recoupment fees, and airport fees may apply. A vehicle licensee fee of up to $2 per day applies in California.
In addition to rental charges, the renter may be responsible for additional charges such as drop charges, additional driver fees, optional refueling charges, optional insurance benefits charges and late charges. Check your automobile insurance policy for rental vehicle coverage. Rate cannot be used with any other certificate, discount, or promotion. Promotional rate and vehicles are subject to availability at any participating National Car Rental locations in the United States. This rate is not available in the New York Metro Area and Hawaii. Geographic driving restrictions and blackout dates apply. Rentals for this discount must be completed no later than December 31, 2000.
