Lifting an '89 Bronco

Mike,
I am looking to lift my '89 full size 4wd Bronco. The front end is sagging and the ride could be better. But I would like to add 4" mostly for looks. I am running 32 x 11.50s now. The local shop in Charlotte is called Tarheel 4WDrive Ctr. and they swear by the Rancho lift kits. What are your thoughts? I plan to keep the truck for awhile and do mostly highway travel and towing with some off road.

I am also thinking of putting in a limited slip differential...not a locker... in the rear. Your thoughts and recommendations are welcome.

Thanks,

JIM

For your needs the kit I would recommend: Is a Traimaster, with drop pitman arm and 6 10-stage shocks if you have dual shocks in the front stock. If you only have 2 shocks in front I would recommend gas shocks. The price for the kit is $499.00, the shocks are 6 10-stage for $149.00 or 4 gas shocks for $152.00. The posi for you that I would recommend is the Auburn Gear unit priced @ $319.00.

Mike
