Moreno named to replace Fittipaldi

Roberto Moreno was named to replace fellow Brazilian Christian
Fittipaldi as the driver for Newman/Haas Racing in Sunday's CART
Grand Prix of Long Beach, the team announced today. 

The 38-year-old Moreno will handle the Swift-Ford/Cosworth XD in
place of Fittipaldi, who suffered multiple fractures of his
right leg after an accident in Sunday's IndyCarnival Australia.
Last year, Moreno returned to CART after a nine-year absence. 

Fittipaldi underwent surgery on Sunday to have a rod and four
screws inserted to repair two severe breaks in his right tibia.
He is expected to miss three months.
