2002 Toyota Tundra

2002

Americans love their Camrys. The 2002 model is going to do nothing to change this. It's got more room - a wider wheelbase, more interior, and more trunk. It's got upgraded power - the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine produces 157 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque - the optional 192-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 now achieves ULEV certification. nding to hold a maximum of 16.7 cubic feet of cargo. Moving that power to the front wheels in both engines is an all-new smooth shifting electronically controlled four-speed automatic overdrive transmission with intelligence. Result: great driving experience. Men, women, young, old, it seemed that everyone who rode or drove the Camry was quite impressed.

2002

The exterior also takes a leap forward with smooth, clean, rounded lines punctuated by sleek, wraparound headlights. The dash and instrumentation is uncluttered and user-friendly. The ride has been distinctly smoothed by a more rigid frame, enhanced suspension. And the Camry is quieter due to cowl stiffeners and foam. With improvements like these, and more, we're not going to be surprised to report the Camry as once again the American best seller for next year.
