A word or two about and from Mike himself:

Hi, I'm "Parts Mike."

I've been a service & parts manager for auto dealerships in the 60's. I've started, owned, operated and sold two successful 4X4 parts and service shops. I'm retired from the Postal Service (but I still have my guns).

I now do 4X4 consulting and I sell parts mainly emissions control (smog). I have built a large number of 4 wheel drive vehicles from flat fenders to modified 4X4 alcohol burning 6200 pound pull trucks. I have been the chassis and running gear designer on two very successful competitive trucks, the current one is the California State Champion for 1996.

I've personally narrowed and setup at least 900 differential, designed and installed my own disc brake systems since 1969. Know most of the hidden secrets of transmission/transfer case conversions. What I can't remember I will try and find the information out through numerous tried and true sources, and I try to keep abreast of the current new products that are available (I haven't missed a SEMA show in the past eight years along with many other trade shows).

I've got gear oil in my blood! The addiction never leaves you.
